Uva Wine Bar Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month With a “Clink For Pink” Campaign
Proceeds to Benefit Beth Israel Deaconess – Plymouth Breast Center
PLYMOUTH, MA (September 18, 2019) – October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Uva Wine Bar, the South Shore’s first and only self-serve wine bar is observing with a month-long “Clink for Pink” campaign that will benefit Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital’s Plymouth Breast Center. Throughout the month of October, Uva will donate a portion of proceeds from wine sales at Uva, and will also host several events where proceeds will go to the local hospital.
Uva’s co-owner, Michelle Manware also works at BID-Plymouth Ob-Gyn & Midwifery as a Physician Assistant, so it is a natural choice for Uva to raise funds for this local organization.
“This month gives us the opportunity to give back to a local organization that is near and dear to our heart, and does so much for women (and men) in the Plymouth community who are affected by Breast Cancer,” said Michelle Manware, Uva Wine Bar co-owner. We are honored to help raise funds so they can continue to provide vital resources for Plymouth area patients.”
During the Clink for Pink campaign, Uva will donate 50% of proceeds from the sales of three popular wine brands (one white, one rosé and one red). Each of the wines will be marked with pink ribbons so that customers will know that when they choose those wines to drink, they will be supporting BID – Plymouth Breast Center.
