Uva Wine Bar and Craft Beer Cellar Team Up to Sell Wine To Go
PLYMOUTH, MA (August 29, 2019) – Uva Wine Bar, the South Shore’s first and only self-serve wine bar located at 46 Main St. has teamed up with another local business on Main St., Craft Beer Cellar to offer “off premise” wine sales for customers. Craft Beer Cellar, who already sells wine, will offer a variety of featured wines at Uva that are not typically found in liquor stores.
Uva wine bar offers 48 different wines from around the world through self-serve WineStations. Customers can get a 1.5 oz. taste, a half glass 3 oz., or a full 6 oz. pour of any of the wines, however all Uva wines must be consumed on premise at Uva. Now, through this partnership with Craft Beer Cellar customers will be able to purchase full bottles of the top selling Uva wines right down the street.
“From the very beginning, our customers have been asking if they could purchase the wines they enjoy at Uva, to go. We’ve had to tell them that they could not, much to their disappointment. This partnership with Craft Beer Cellar will be a win-win for all involved,” said Katy Gaenicke, general manager and co-owner at Uva Wine Bar.
“We are excited to create this relationship with another local business and feature Uva’s wines at Craft Beer Cellar,” said Tatum Stewart, owner of Craft Beer Cellar. “When customers come in to Craft Beer Cellar they will see a designated space where they can find the featured wines they enjoyed at Uva.”
“The wines we select to feature at Uva are from smaller boutique wineries around the world and are not readily available through liquor stores or even boutique wine shops,” said Michelle Manware, wine director and co-owner at Uva Wine Bar. “We actively seek out wines that are unique and have high quality, smaller productions. We are thrilled that our customers can now find many of those wines to enjoy at home after they discover them at Uva.”
